Uniform pseudomagnetic fields in graphene: corrections due to lattice
deformations

Very recently, the standard description of electrons in strained graphene has been completed by including the explicit inclusion of the lattice deformation. As a result, all previous results concerning the Dirac approach under pseudomagnetic fields, need revision. Here, these corrections are taking into account to find the correct mechanical deformations to create uniform pseudomagnetic fields inside strained graphene. The main difference when compared with previous proposals in a rectangular geometry, is the need to stretch the armchair and zigzag edges.
