oscillations

Unitary limit for model point scatterers in graphene is known to reveal low-energy resonances. While being very appealing and leading to interesting phenomena, it requires very strong impurity potential, difficult to achieve in practicality. We demonstrate that finite size defects represent an easier realization of the effective unitary limit, with the first occurring when the Fermi wavelength induced by the potential becomes of the order of the size of the defect. Near the resonances the dependence of the induced electron density on the distance changes from ~r^-3 to ~r^-2 and is very sensitive to low levels of doping.
