A polariton condensation has been observed in a microcavity semiconductor. In the low excitation regime, this can approximately be taken as the thermal-equilibrium. The higher the excitation is, the more dominant the non-equilibrium features are. In the high excitation regime, standard photon lasing is expected to take place because of its microcavity structure. In this paper, we report the crossover regime from polariton condensation to photon lasing by the temperature and excitation-density dependences. In the low temperature and the high excitation regime, we find a different behaviour of photoluminescence to photon lasing to be expected from the past studies.
